AMtec Solar Was Pleased to Supply Contactor Combiner Boxes for The Boeing Plant in North Charleston, SC.

This system is one of the largest roof-top solar installations in the United States.  The project consists of (18,095) 144 watt Uni-Solar thin film photovoltaic laminate, and (4) 700 kW GE Brilliance Utility Grade Inverters. The system covers about 10 acres of roof space, or eight football fields.  


The power generated will stay on site and go directly to Boeing’s system. The power generated is enough to power 200 homes for a year.
